fuckyeahusnavy: Michigan State University and the University of North Carolina tip off the inaugural Quicken Loans Carrier Classic basketball game on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The Carrier Classic is a celebration of Veterans Day. Even though UNC won this game (ugh), watching the set up of the Carrier Classic was pretty badass.   USS Carl Vinson just deployed today for the next six(ish?) months with at least one of my friends on board.  Fair winds and following seas!
